It is difficult to talk about leapfrogging growth artificial intelligence - Minister
YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. It is difficult to ensure leapfrogging growth without artificial intelligence and new technological solutions, Armenian Minister of Hi-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan said.
"We should think about how to introduce artificial intelligence tools in economy, telecommunications and radio, education. In this context, the forums are important to understand the most effective ways to achieve this goal," Hayrapetyan said.
He noted that despite technological progress, there is still fear of the new.
"At different stages of technological revolutions, these fears were present - they were similar to the fears we have about artificial intelligence. But I suggest we look to the future: those countries that think about this for a long time will fall behind the development of the rest of the world. I fear that we are already too late. So we need to take decisions 10 times faster to accelerate growth," the minister said.
He said the ministry he heads has pledged to help in digital transformation.
"We have to do it today, right now," Hayrapetyan said. -0-
