Electronic information boards to be installed in 22 museums of Armenia

In 2012 in 22 museums of Armenia electronic information boards will be installed, said Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan.
YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. In 2012 in 22 museums of Armenia electronic information boards will be installed, said Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan.
“This allows to electronically submit to public review all exhibits that are stored in the funds and the vaults”, she said in the press-conference on Monday.
Poghosyan said that today only 57% of exhibits are demonstrated in the halls of the museums.
The first 40 thousand exhibits are planned to demonstrate electronically this year and this figure will increase each year.
This year it is also planned to start works on the establishment of two virtual museums - Museum of Books in National Library and the Museum of Arshile Gorky.
Arshile Gorky (Vostanik Adoyan (1904-1948)) is considered one of the influential American artists of XX century, his paintings were exhibited in all the largest galleries in USA, as well as in London “Tate” --0--
