"Yes Parking" mobile app will be launched in Yerevan – Deputy Mayor

 
YEREVAN, April 6. /ARКА/. The "Yes Parking" mobile app has been developed and will be launched in Yerevan this week, announced Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan.
 
"In addition to SMS-based parking payments in Yerevan, the app allows payment by linking a bank card rather than topping up your phone balance," Grigoryan noted at a working meeting at City Hall on Monday.
 
According to him, a frequently complained issue by citizens, especially those using hourly payment methods, has also been addressed.

"Previously, they had to regularly interrupt their activities to extend their parking. Now, payment can be made automatically: for example, before a meeting, you can set the desired period, and after parking is complete, you can disable automatic debits," Grigoryan said.

The Deputy Mayor emphasized that the issue of fine notifications has also been resolved.

"Currently, many citizens learn about fines too late—often already at the enforcement stage. The app will deliver notifications in a timely manner," Grigoryan said.

Furthermore, he said, the app's map will show which areas of the city have available parking spaces, saving time and reducing traffic congestion.

"The app is already available for iOS devices in the App Store. The Android version on Google Play is currently being tested," Grigoryan noted.
