Yerevan to host Emerge technology conference on June 1-2
YEREVAN, May 16. /ARKA/. The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) told ARKA news agency that an international technology conference EMERGE will be held in Yerevan on June 1-2, 2022.
It said the event is expected to bring together over two thousand representatives of IT industry from USA, Western and Eastern Europe, Balkan region and Central Asia. Among the key speakers are representatives from TechCrunch, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Snap Inc., Pinterest, Google Deepmind, Glovo and many other international companies.
The EMERGE conference is devoted to new technologies, problems of startups and global IT trends. Several dozen speakers from around the world, including venture capitalists, will speak at the two-day event to be held at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater.
The mission of the conference is to share hot trends and insights from various industries with IT professionals, funders and investors, as well as to become a platform for quality networking for participants.
The experts will discuss how peoples’ lives are being transformed by rapidly developing technology. They will also focus on the personal success stories and life challenges that entrepreneurs have gone through. They will share their experience in creating a company strategy, niche evaluation, entering the global market and attracting venture investments.
A special focus of the conference is traditionally the annual startup competition - EMERGE CHALLENGE. Winners will receive investments and prizes from Amazon Web Services. Last year at the EMERGE conference startups attracted more than 5 million euros of investments.
