Vanadzor Tech Community: Tech Week 2025 Conference Held with Support from Team
YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. From July 4 to 6, Vanadzor was the technological capital of Armenia. Tech Week 2025, one of the most important events of the Armenian tech community, took place in Lori province with Team Telecom Armenia as the technological partner.
TCF, Zealous, and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) initiated Tech Week Vanadzor.
For three days, Vanadzor brought together tech community leaders, tech company heads, experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and anyone interested in the tech industry.
"As a leading company in Armenia's technology sector, Team Telecom Armenia consistently focuses on significant technological, scientific, and educational events for the country while implementing programs to promote balanced regional development. Tech Week effectively unites all of these areas, promoting their development in different parts of the country," said Grigory Yurin, Head of Public Relations at Team Telecom Armenia.
As part of this significant event for the technology sector, conferences and panel discussions were held with local and international experts in attendance. Over the three days, about 2,800 participants attended the conference, and more than 60 speakers participated, including company founders, executives, technology entrepreneurs, investors, and other leading industry players.
"Such events are a great platform for communication and cooperation. First of all, they give young people the opportunity to meet founders and company representatives, ask them questions directly, and receive answers on the spot," said Sargis Karapetyan, executive director of UATE.
Tech Week Vanadzor 2025 also included the DevHacks hackathon and the Wings idea competition. The winners received prizes.
Goris was announced as the technological capital of the next Tech Week.
