YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. The 20th DigiTec 2025 is set to run in Yerevan on October 10-12, transforming the Armenian capital into a hub for the global tech elite and uniting individuals whose ideas are reshaping the future.

The organizer of DigiTec, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), anticipates around 40,000 visitors and participants from 20 countries this year, featuring over 100 globally recognized technology leaders, industry icons, visionaries, and innovators, along with 250 prominent companies in the exhibition segment, establishing DigiTec as the most thrilling event not only in Armenia but also in the region.

This year's DigiTech highlights, in both the exhibition and conference segments, will address the challenges and issues surrounding AI, venture capital, and the progressive development of technology firms. The 20th anniversary is set to offer an unparalleled range of events and activities.

DigiTech 2025 is receiving support from the Armenian government, represented by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the Yerevan Municipality.

Yerevan as a Leading Techno Center in the Region

"Today, we not only announce the commencement of DigiTech but also affirm Yerevan's status as a premier regional technology center," stated Levon Hovhannisyan, Deputy Mayor of the Armenian capital.

He further noted that this year, the Municipality has provided financial backing for this extensive initiative for the first time and will participate in the exhibition with the "Yerevan" pavilion, which will highlight the technological and smart solutions being implemented within the city.

In response to an inquiry from ARKA, he revealed that the financial support from City Hall totals 50 million drams.

"This year, DigiTech is evolving into a distinctive platform where local initiatives converge with global expertise, new avenues of collaboration are established, and a vision is crafted that transcends the traditional exhibition format," Hovhannisyan concluded.

Nonstop Technology and Music

UATE Director Sarkis Karapetyan has announced that this year's anniversary DigiTech will take place in an unprecedented 24-hour format, spanning three days and two nights.

He stated that, for the first time, the event will be conducted in three distinct formats: a technology exhibition, the international DigiConf conference, and a festival.

Regarding the conference, he highlighted that over 100 leaders from the technology sector will be in attendance, including Nvidia Vice President Rev Lebaredyan, ABBYY founder David Yang, Picsart CEO and founder Hovhannes Avoyan, Oculus co-founder Jack McCauley, along with numerous other domestic and international industry figures.

"The topics of the conference will encompass artificial intelligence, startup investments, and international growth and sales. Professional training sessions and workshops will be arranged for participants," he remarked. Karapetyan noted that speakers and delegations will be arriving from various parts of the globe, including Boston, London, Sydney, New York, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Paris.

The UATE director mentioned that the festival segment will run concurrently, with the active phase commencing after the conclusion of the conference.

"This year, we are partnering with the Rambal Koshe artistic community: as part of DigiTech, we will host the international festival of light, sound, and experimental technomasters, Zen. Local and international DJs will be producing experimental music throughout the day at four locations adjacent to the conference venue," he stated.

Karapetyan further explained that following the conference, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the Jam section will showcase Life Jazz.

"This year, Tigran Hamasyan, a distinguished pianist and composer, will unveil a new light and sound show, illustrating how live music is generated through technology. Three esteemed international musicians will join him on stage," he added, noting that one of them is a celebrated master of experimental music.

Karapetyan also mentioned that an afterparty with both local and international DJs is scheduled for the nights of September 10th and 11th, lasting until 6:00 AM.

"Furthermore, in the mornings from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, we welcome you to the Hrazdan Gorge for jogging, yoga, and exercise," he stated, emphasizing that these activities are intended to showcase Yerevan's capacity to support the techno world.-0-
