YEREVAN, May 2. /ARКА/. Impact Hub Yerevan and Ucom, after successfully completing the first stage, announce the launch of the second stage of the Ucom Fellowship incubation program, the company's press service reported.

The initiative is aimed at supporting a new generation of Armenian entrepreneurs developing technological solutions for environmental sustainability.

The program builds on last year's achievements, during which four innovative teams - Flowtric, Lamboo, SmartPot and Solatube Armenia - successfully developed and presented cutting-edge green solutions after 8 months of intensive training in business modeling, artificial intelligence, fundraising and more. The Flowtric team, whose idea was declared the best at the end of the project, received 500,000 drams to scale up their innovative hydropower technology.

"We are very happy to continue this cooperation, as the results are truly impressive. Green technologies are something that has been actively developing in the world lately, and we will do our best to contribute to this important cause. I sincerely hope that the participants will come up with great ideas and achieve the best results by the end of the new stage of the program,” said Ralph Yirikian, CEO of Ucom.

“Last year’s program was an amazing revelation, showing an exceptional level of innovation and deep-rooted green thinking that exceeded our expectations. It proved that Armenia has real potential for leadership in green innovation. Now we are happy to support a new group of innovators by providing them with the tools they need to turn their bold ideas into reality,” said Gevorg Poghosyan, CEO of Impact Hub Yerevan.

The new stage of the year-long incubation program offers practical workshops, mentorship from leading industry experts, access to the Impact Hub’s global network of over 100 locations worldwide, and funding opportunities. The best teams in the program will also receive 400,000 AMD each.

The program invites innovators – individuals and teams developing technological solutions in key sustainable development sectors, including green energy, agritech, ecotourism and circular economy – to apply. The program provides an ideal environment for the development and growth of both early stage startups, research teams and entrepreneurs with ready-made prototypes for scaling. All interested candidates can apply for participation in the program until May 11, 2025.
