TUMO-Kapan Center is now available for 2,500 teenagers of Syunik region of Armenia
YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. The official opening of the main building of TUMO-Kapan took place last Sunday, March 2 in the administrative center of Armenia's Syunik marz.
TUMO Kapan is located in the renovated building of the former railway station, which has turned into an innovation hub in Armenia's southernmost region, encompassing TUMO boxes in Meghri and Kajaran.
About 2,500 teenagers aged 12-18 will be able to attend courses in TUMO-Kapan, including TUMO-box students from Goris (they will be able to come to the seminars by special transportation).
The TUMO-Kapan project is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Kapan, the EU initiative “Sustainable Syunik - Team Europe”, TUMO donors Judit Sarjan and Victor Zarugyan. TUMO boxes in Meghri and Goris are sponsored by the Kashyan family and Contour Global.

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies (TUMO) was opened in Armenia in 2011, where teenagers aged 12-18 are trained free of charge to work in the IT sphere using modern technologies (programming, music, robotics, animation, 3D modeling, film production, photography, game development, graphic design and drawing).
