YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. The 20th anniversary event, DigiTec 2025, kicked off in Yerevan on Friday and will run through October 12.
During the opening ceremony, Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated that DigiTec is a good opportunity to review the year's achievements. He cited legislative improvements and the launch of cooperation with international companies such as Starlink and Plug and Play among its achievements.
"Technology is a tool for making Yerevan greener and more human-centered. These days, we will present digital Yerevan and technological solutions," said Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
According to him, DigiTec unites the private sector and society, providing opportunities for development.
DigiTec organizer, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), expects approximately 40,000 visitors and participants from 20 countries this year, over 100 world-renowned technology leaders, industry legends, visionaries, and innovators, and 250 leading companies to participate in the exhibition section, making DigiTec the most exciting event not only in Armenia but also in the region.
This year's DigiTech focus, both in the exhibition section and in the conference section, will be on the issues and challenges of AI, venture capital, and the progressive growth of technology companies. The 20th anniversary promises an unprecedented array of events and activities.
