Temu Armenian users' data leaked - expert
YEREVAN, September 17 /ARKA/ There was a data leak of about 87 million users of the Temu marketplace from different countries, including Armenia, Levon Isajanyan, an engineer at the information security company CyberHub-AM, reported on Facebook.
"According to Threat Actor, it was possible to exfiltrate data of 87 million clients, including users from Armenia. There was a leak of information about UserId, Username, e-mail, address, IP address, Gender, Phone Number, DOB. There is also other data that is in a cached state or at the Boolean level, it is impossible to identify it until a collection of all the data is ready," wrote Isajanyan on Facebook.
The expert advised users of this marketplace to reset their password and set a new one, observing security rules.
