Team Telecom Armenia announces the end of rebranding

YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. Telecom operator Team Telecom Armenia has officially announced today the end of the rebranding process, which started with the acquisition of 100% shares of Veon Armenia (Beeline trademark). The end of the process was marked by the opening of the modernized head service center on Northern Avenue in Yerevan.

According to Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan, a big team work has been conducted over the past 18 months, and today the company is finally renamed to Team Telecom Armenia.

"We are proud to announce that thanks to the rebranding, Team Telecom is now fully Armenian. As a result of teamwork, a brand has been created that plans to implement big projects in the market," he said.

He stressed that Team Telecom Armenia provides and will continue providing clients with the widest range of services.

Strategic Objectives

As a strategic direction, the company started constructing the Next Generation Network, unique for the region, which will allow every subscriber to have 25 Gbps internet access.  "Very soon the network will be avaialbel to the residnets of the town of Dilijan, and to about 55 thousand subscribers in Davtashen and Arabkir administrative districts in Yerevan," he said.

Head of Commercial Projects Elina Grbashyan said that Team Telecom Armenia service and sales centers offer various smartphones, headphones, smart home solutions and etc.

New Plans

According to Yesayan,  Team Telecom Armenia operate 78 branches throughout the country and does not plan to open new ones as the company is going to switch to digitalization of customer service.

"There will be practically no new branches as the whole world is in the process of digitalization. Based on this, we also have to transform," he said.

Speaking to ARKA news agency about plans for further development and technological modernization of the company, Yesayan said that the process is currently in full swing.

He said that modernization of the fixed network is going on, the fiber-optic network is being created, which essentially differs from the existing network in that each subscriber will be able to connect to the network with a separate cable.

Turning to the issue of investments, Yesayan said that a large investment project is being discussed and will be announced soon.

"So far, large investments have been made, which have been fully attracted from both domestic and credit resources," he stressed.

Yesayan said that in a short period of time they have managed to implement projects, which in the future will bring about crucial changes in the telecom sector, contributing not only to the promotion of the company, but also to the development of the IT industry.
