Team's newest NGN network is available in Vayots Dzor and Armavir
YEREVAN, 24 December. /ARKA/. Team Telecom Armenia announced the expansion of coverage of its unique regional fibre optic NGN network covering all cities of Vayots Dzor and Armavir regions
The company's press service reports that the new network, which provides bandwidth up to 25,000 Mbps, is available to 40,000 households in the towns of Jermuk, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Armavir, Metsamor and Vagharshapat.
‘We continue to build the NGN network both in Yerevan and in the regions. These efforts we are putting into building the network will bring benefits and opportunities for our country for decades to come,’ said Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan.
Currently, Team's NGN network covers 40% of Armenia's households and is already available to about 350,000 families. The network operates in 40 settlements across Armenia, and in the capital city it covers seven administrative districts: Avan, Arabkir, Davtashen, Kanaker-Zeytun, Kentron, Nor Nork and Shengavit.
Subscribers can enjoy high-speed internet by subscribing to Cosmo's price packages, which provide access to internet speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, digital TV, fixed and mobile services. The Cosmobox device included in the package replaces the traditional TV set-top box, turning the TV into a ‘gaming platform’. Subscribers have access to about 2,000 games, which, thanks to cloud technologies, can be run on virtually any device.
