Team Telecom Armenia presents prospects for development of AI, telecommunications and renewable energy at Sevan Startup Summit (video)
YEREVAN, July 30. /ARКА/. Team Telecom Armenia once again took part in the largest innovation project of the summer, the Sevan Startup Summit, as a technology partner.
The geography of the tent business forum in 2025 has significantly expanded, bringing together about 15,000 participants from 40 countries for one week at Lake Sevan, the company said in a press release..
Team Telecom Armenia co-founders Hayk and Alexander Yesayan spoke at the CampFire Talk conference, held as part of the summit, touching upon the development and prospects of the telecommunications and renewable energy sectors, as well as the construction of a powerful artificial intelligence center in Armenia.
Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan especially noted the dialogue between a large infrastructure company and the IT community at the Sevan Startup Summit.
“As a company with an extensive technological infrastructure and advanced technologies, we are here to present where the telecommunications sector is heading, how innovations affect it and what changes are taking place in it. At the same time, this is a great platform to get acquainted with new, fresh ideas, to see what ideas our youth generates, where they are looking and how we can unite various technological sectors,” says Hayk Yesayan.
Sevan Startup Summit Project Manager Vahagn Rapyan notes that expanding the geography of the tent business forum significantly contributes to the launch of new initiatives.
“This year, we tried to make the summit a platform for events and held various industry events and educational programs. The role of our partners is important to ensure the smooth and effective operation of this entire process. For many years, we have traditionally cooperated with Team Telecom Armenia, which provides us with high-quality Internet on an area of about 40 hectares, where the infrastructure is not so developed,” says Rapyan.
This year, the Sevan EV Rally was also held as part of the Summit, where the participants’ electric cars were charged at Team Energy fast charging stations specially installed for the race. The goal of the event was to draw attention to the ecology of Lake Sevan.
To date, about 60,000 people from about 60 countries have taken part in the 12 events of the project. Many of the more than 1,700 startups have received grants from a prize fund of about $650,000. The volume of investments and investment agreements concluded within the framework of the project exceeds $5 million.
