"Science Week 2026" will once again bring together thousands of people interested in science and innovation.
YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. "Science Week 2026" will once again bring together thousands of people interested in science and innovation. Decentralized events across the country kick off today, while the festival portion will take place on September 25–26 at the National Academy of Sciences as part of the ERNA festival (Address: 24 Baghramyan Ave., Yerevan).
Team Telecom Armenia is once again serving as the technology partner for the initiative, continuing its support for the popularization of science and education.
This year, "Science Week" is being held under the slogan "An Explorer Lives in Each of Us." As part of the program organized by the "Gituzh" initiative, children, young people, and anyone interested in science will be able to explore the field through experiments, games, competitions, films, discussions, and other interactive formats.
"Interest in science develops when a person has the opportunity not only to listen or read but also to experiment, ask questions, and discover new things. It is precisely this approach that makes 'Science Week' important, and we are pleased to use our technological capabilities to foster the spread of knowledge and the development of new ideas," said Tigran Frangyan, Commercial Director of Team Telecom Armenia.
According to him, from the very early days of Team's establishment, while defining its strategic priorities, the company has sought to help create an environment where science and innovation are accessible and engaging, particularly for the younger generation.
"The goal of 'Science Week' is to present science and technology to the public not merely as a profession, but as a mindset, a social culture, and a foundation for national security. It sparks curiosity in the new generation and builds the human potential that will shape Armenia's future," noted Gevorg Safaryan, a member of the "Gituzh" initiative. The "Science Week 2026" program features scientific experiments and educational activities for various age groups, a science fiction short story contest, film screenings, museum events, online games, and discussions on science, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
Supporting initiatives in science, education, and innovation is a long-term priority for Team Telecom Armenia. The company places great importance on platforms that enable young people to develop a research-oriented mindset, cultivate an interest in technology, and transform their ideas into new solutions.
