Strategy for development of high technologies will be approved in Armenia in the first half of 2026
YEREVAN, January 13. /АРКА/. A strategic program for the development of high technologies is being developed in Armenia. This, as reported by the government's press service, was noted during the presentation of the report on the activities of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry for 2025 to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
In particular, analytical reports have already been developed, priority technological directions have been determined, and work is currently underway to form strategic goals, draw up an action plan, and discuss with stakeholders. The strategic program is planned to be approved in the first half of 2026.
In this context, Pashinyan noted that for all departments, digitization should always be on the list of priorities.
"For all ministries and departments, digitization is one of the mandatory priorities. "There cannot be such a department in which digitization is not among the priorities," he said.
During the meeting, it was also noted that last year, as part of the implementation of the law "On State Support of High Technologies", 8.76 billion drams were provided to economic entities for attracting labor migrants, accepting new employees, and retraining employees. At present, requests for support are accepted through an electronic platform, providing automated calculation and decision-making on providing support.-0-
