YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. Interruptions may occur in Rostelecom’s Hybrid TV services in Armenia on September 22 due to maintenance works from 11:00 to 19:00, the company’s press office reported.

The works aim at improving the quality of the services, the company apologizes for the inconvenience, says the report.

Rostelecom has made large-scale investments in Armenia since 2012 and provides services in more than 18 towns across the country and nine communities in Yerevan.

The company has recently built a 40Gbyte/sec ring network that allows providing uninterrupted and high-speed Internet access in the capital.

GNC-ALFA is an Armenian subsidiary of Russia’s Rostelecom. The company started providing broadband access to Internet and telephony services at Armenia’s mass market in 2012.

Now GNC-ALFA provides also interactive television for individuals. –0--
