Revenue in the field of creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs and telecommunications activities in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to 40,736.2 million drams, an increase of 0.6% compared to the first quarter of 2024.

Revenue in the communications sector in Armenia increased by 0.6% in the first quarter, reaching 40.7 billion drams

YEREVAN, May 12. /ARKA/. Revenue in the field of creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs and telecommunications activities in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to 40,736.2 million drams, an increase of 0.6% compared to the first quarter of 2024. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee.

At the same time, in March of this year, revenue in this sector amounted to 14,427.8 million drams, an increase of 4.5% compared to March last year and 12.3% compared to February of this year.

Of the specified amount, revenue in the telecommunications sector for January-March of the current year amounted to 38,059.2 million drams (an increase of 1.5% compared to January-March 2024), in the line of creation and broadcasting of television programs - 2,280.0 million drams (a decline of 8.5%), and in the line of creation and broadcasting of radio programs - 397.0 million drams (a decline of 20.7%).
