Revenue in Armenia's communications sector saw a 26% increase during the first eight months, totaling nearly 112 billion drams

The revenue generated from television and radio broadcasting, as well as telecommunications activities, reached 111,924.9 million drams in the first eight months of 2025, reflecting a 2% rise compared to the same timeframe in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. The revenue generated from television and radio broadcasting, as well as telecommunications activities, reached 111,924.9 million drams in the first eight months of 2025, reflecting a 2% rise compared to the same timeframe in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Moreover, the revenue for this sector in August of the current year was 14,593.3 million drams, marking a 4.4% increase from August of the previous year and a 0.9% rise from July of this year.

Of this total, the telecommunications sector generated revenue of 104,326.4 million drams from January to August of this year, which is a 2.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television programs was 6,437.8 million drams, indicating a decrease of 2.5%, while revenue from the creation and broadcasting of radio programs was 1,160.7 million drams, reflecting a decline of 4%.
