Regional youth forum "DemArDem: Dialogue of Generations" was held in Vagharshapat with the support of Ucom

With the support and active participation of Ucom, the annual regional forum "DemArDem: Dialogue of Generations" was held in Vagharshapat. It was organized by the public organization "Children of the Regions in the Regions."
YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. With the support and active participation of Ucom, the annual regional forum "DemArDem: Dialogue of Generations" was held in Vagharshapat. It was organized by the public organization "Children of the Regions in the Regions."
The forum, held at the Komitas Palace of Culture in Vagharshapat, brought together over 800 teenagers and young people from all regions of Armenia and Javakhk, as well as older generations—experienced professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and intellectuals.
The forum is being held in a "reversed" format, with the older generation listening to the younger generation. Eight young speakers shared their unique stories and delivered inspiring presentations on topics such as "To Be or Not to Be a Friend of AI," "The Brain as a National Resource," "An Armenian Robot Overseas," and others. They spent a month preparing for their presentations with professional mentors, including the head of the Ucom Academy.
"At Ucom, we attach great importance to unlocking the potential of young people and expanding opportunities for technological education in the regions. The DemArDem forum is a shining example of how teenagers can not only learn but also inspire the older generation. We are pleased to support this initiative, as contributing to the development of constructive dialogue between generations is one of the most important factors in our country's development," noted Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian.
The forum also featured a Ucom pavilion, where young participants participated in themed intellectual games, posed for photos in AI photo zones, and learned about the company's activities and its corporate social responsibility programs.
"For the third time, DemArDem has proven the enormous potential of teenagers living in the regions if they are simply trusted and given a platform for self-expression. Thanks to partners like Ucom, this voice becomes more visible and a genuine connection between generations is formed. However, our work is not limited to the forum. The NGO "Children of the Regions in the Regions" works in the regions year-round, alongside children. Throughout the year, we organize educational camps and events involving both generations in all regions of the Republic of Armenia," noted NGO President Aramayis Margaryan.
The forum featured an exhibition of projects created and implemented by the teenagers themselves, a panel discussion on the topic "Child Development and the Future: What is Our Role?", as well as competitions and interactive activities. At the end of the event, Ucom presented gifts and prizes to the winners of the intellectual competition and the forum speakers. The forum concluded with a concert by the band Tmbata. Today, the community includes over 400 active volunteers from all regions of Armenia and Javakhk, as well as over 120 experienced mentors from Armenia and the Diaspora.
