Oxford, Cambridge, and Leading Global Publishers to Gather for EIFL Conference in Yerevan

The annual assembly of the Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) organization will be held at the National Library of Armenia from September 30 to October 2.
YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. The annual assembly of the Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) organization will be held at the National Library of Armenia from September 30 to October 2.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, the event will bring together library representatives from 48 countries, as well as a number of scientific publishers (Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Brill, JSTOR, EBSCO, Sage, The Company of Biologists, and others).
The goal of the conference is to stimulate scientific and research progress in participating countries by creating an important international platform for the exchange of professional knowledge and experience between representatives of the library and academic fields.
Representatives of EBSCO Information Services will conduct a seminar for specialists from various Armenian libraries, presenting best practices for working with electronic resources. EIFL is an international non-profit organization operating in developing and transition countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and Europe. Its mission is to provide access to knowledge and information and to promote education, science, research, and sustainable community development.
