YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. Broadcasting of the news channel of the Public Television of Armenia (Հ1) from June 9 will be extended to the whole territory of the republic. According to the amendments to the Armenian Law “On Audiovisual Media”, starting from June 4, the TV channels of the public multiplex of Armenia will be rearranged, as a result of which it will be possible to connect new receiving TV sets (more detailed information is available on the website of tna.am or on the Facebook page of the company), reports Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Armenia CJSC. The amendments to the Law “On Audiovisual Media” provide for the provision of an additional slot in the public multiplex to OТА on a non-competitive basis and without obtaining a license. At present, OТА has one news channel, which is broadcasted in Yerevan, while the amendments allow broadcasting in the whole territory of Armenia. -0-
