OpenAI identifies Azerbaijani traces in ChatGPT - Armenian expert
YEREVAN, October 18. /ARКА/. In its report on the use of ChatGPT in influence operations OpenAI has identified an Azerbaijani trace, Samvel Martirosyan, nformation security expert and co-founder of Cyberhub.am, said.
According to him, this American research organization was engaged in trolling in favor of Azerbaijan in return for money. As an example, he cited the cross-platform influence operation: A2Z.
"An unknown group from the US posted political comments on X and Facebook in languages including English, French, Persian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, German, Polish and Russian. This was identified by an internal investigation. We have blocked a group of accounts that posted comments via API, many of which praised Azerbaijan or defended its human rights record. Other topics were also discussed, indicating the possible commercial nature of the operation. We have named this network "A2Z" due to frequent mentions of Azerbaijan and the use of AI," Martirosyan said quoting the report.-0-
