New owner of MTS Armenia donates 20% of shares to Armenian government

The Government of Armenia decided today to accept 100 thousand shares of MTS Armenia CJSC (trade mark "Viva-MTS") as a gift from Fedilco Group Limited, a Cyprus-based company, which make 20% of the total number of shares.
YEREVAN, February 29. /ARKA/. The Government of Armenia decided today to accept 100 thousand shares of MTS Armenia CJSC (trade mark "Viva-MTS") as a gift from Fedilco Group Limited, a Cyprus-based company, which make 20% of the total number of shares.
The right to manage the shares was transferred to the the government's staff.
Earlier Viva-MTS reported about the change of owner. The company ceased to be part of the Russian group MTS. Fedilco Group Limited became the new owner of the company. Its main shareholders are European and Asian investors.
MTS Armenia is a leading telecommunications and internet provider in Armenia. -0-
