Mobile and internet operators in Armenia paid 30.7 billion drams in taxes and duties in the first nine months
YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. Major mobile and internet operators in Armenia paid 30.7 billion drams to the state budget from January to September 2025, according to the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia, published by the State Revenue Committee.
Of all taxes paid by four operators – Viva Armenia, Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom, and GNC-Alfa (a Rostelecom brand) – funds collected by tax authorities amounted to 30.5 billion drams, while customs authorities collected 242.1 million drams.
Viva Armenia (13th place) held the highest position among telecommunications operators for the first nine months of this year, with payments totaling 14.4 billion drams. Ucom ranked 31st with over 7.6 billion drams. Telecom Armenia transferred 7.5 billion drams to the state budget during the reporting period (33rd place), while GNC-ALFA (OVIO brand, formerly Rostelecom) transferred 1.2 billion drams (214th place).
On July 2, the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia approved the sale of 100% of the shares of GNC-Alfa (OVIO brand) to Viva Armenia. A six-month deadline has been set for the possible transaction to be concluded.
According to the SRC, the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia transferred over 1.4 trillion drams in taxes and customs duties to the state budget from January to September 2025. Mobile Center Art leads the list (payment volume – 52.5 billion drams), Grand Tobacco is in second place (45.9 billion drams), and Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Plant is in third place (36.2 billion drams).
