Mobile and Internet operators in Armenia paid 20.4 billion drams in taxes in the first half of the year

YEREVAN, July 28. /ARKA/. Large mobile and Internet operators in Armenia paid 20 billion 437.6 million drams to the state budget in January-June 2025. This is evidenced by the data of the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia, published by the State Revenue Committee.

In the structure of all taxes paid by four operators - Viva Armenia, Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom and GNC-Alfa (Rostelecom brand), funds collected by tax authorities amounted to 20 billion 271.5 million drams, and by customs authorities - 166.14 million drams.

Viva Armenia (11th place) took the highest position among telecommunications operators in the first half of this year - its payments amounted to more than 10.45 billion drams. Telecom Armenia is in 37th place with an indicator of more than 4.59 billion drams. Ucom transferred 4.58 billion drams to the state budget during the reporting period (38th place), and GNC-ALFA (OVIO trademark, formerly Rostelecom) - 809.1 million drams (219th place).

Earlier, on July 2, the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia gave its consent to the sale of 100% of the shares of the authorized capital of GNC-Alfa (OVIO brand) to Viva Armenia. A six-month period has been set for concluding a possible deal.

According to the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia transferred over 986 billion drams in taxes and customs payments to the state budget of the republic in January-June 2025. Mobile Center Art leads the list (payments amounted to 32.9 billion drams), Grand Tobacco is in second place (30.46 billion drams), Gazprom Armenia is in third place (28 billion drams).
