The foundation stone ceremony for the €42.5 million EU Tumo engineering and applied technology complex (EUCC) was held in Yerevan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the event, the government press service reported.

YEREVAN, February 24. /ARKA/. The foundation stone ceremony for the €42.5 million EU Tumo engineering and applied technology complex (EUCC) was held in Yerevan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the event, the government press service reported.

The project is being implemented as part of the government's reforms aimed at developing technological education. Of the total project budget, approximately €12.5 million is a grant from the European Union, provided to the Simonyan Educational Foundation under the EU for Innovation program.

The complex is being built next to the existing TUMO creative technologies center in the Hrazdan Gorge area.

The building, with a total area of ​​18,000 square meters, includes a 24-hour reception area. The space will house TUMO laboratories with educational, engineering, and incubation programs, a local branch of the French programming school “42 Yerevan,” research and applied laboratories, coworking spaces, a conference center, and business zones.
