Information security expert, co-founder of CyberHUB-AM Artur Papyan warned of a phishing attack allegedly on behalf of the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia in the Signal app.
YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Information security expert, co-founder of CyberHUB-AM Artur Papyan warned of a phishing attack allegedly on behalf of the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia in the Signal app.
“According to our preliminary data, about 50 representatives of civil society in Armenia have been subjected to a targeted phishing attack, having received a message in the Signal app allegedly from the EU Ambassador to Armenia Vasilis Maragos,” Papyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He advised changing the password to the account. “If you clicked on the registration link and logged into your Microsoft account, be sure to change your password and make sure there are no active sessions in your account,” the expert noted.-0-
