ArmenTel telecommunication operator (trading as Beeline) has launched a new service called “Find your phone." The new service enables owners of mobile phones and tablets to check whether they are used in the Beeline network if they are lost.

YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. ArmenTel telecommunication operator (trading as Beeline) has launched a new service called “Find your phone." The new service enables owners of mobile phones and tablets to check whether they are used in the Beeline network if they are lost.

A request for the service can be send only from a phone connected to the company's cellular network. To activate the service, one needs to dial *150* IMEI# (IMEI consists of 15 digits and is unique for each device).

If the mobile device operates within the Beeline network, then after sending a request, the subscriber will receive an SMS notification that the device with this IMEI is detected. The last date of its use is also indicated. Otherwise, the subscriber receives a message stating that the device was not found.

The service is available to subscribers who use prepaid and postpaid tariffs of the company, with the exception of Internet packages. Its cost is 500 drams, including VAT. The number of requests is unlimited.

ArmenTel is a 100% subsidiary of VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony services.-0-
