Beeline launches cutting-edge wireless fixed telephony network

YEREVAN, September 2. /ARKA/. ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline brand) has announced the commercial launch of a modernized fixed telephony network based on cutting-edge wireless technology in 450MHz standard all over Armenia, the press office of the telecommunication company reported on Friday.   

The company is already launching Hi-Fly service, which is based on the new network.

The powerful signal of the new basic stations allow use of Hi-Fly Internet service even in residential areas where wire infrastructure is absent, and mobile Internet coverage is weak or missing at all.  

Beeline CEO in Armenia Andrey Pyatakhin is quoted in the press release as saying that the launch of a new network is a great achievement for the company, since this network can ensure high-quality and stable Internet even to most remote residential areas.   

“Beeline continues investing in the data transmission network and the company is doing this with care and affection for residents of even the most remote villages offering them services at very low, I can say social prices,” he said.

The company will provide subscribers Hi-Fly service with a powerful router with a wide Wi-Fi radius and the opportunity of simultaneous connection of smartphones, computers, tablets, notebooks etc.

The speed of the provided Internet will reach 1 Mbit/sec, and monthly fee is set at AMD 2,990.

In May, Beeline launched a modernized fixed network in 450MHz standard in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province.

The new network allows reaching Internet speed exceeding 10 Mb/sec. The stability of the new fixed network’s signal exceeds that of 2G and 3G mobile networks.
