Armenian TUMO centre awarded by prestigious Tools Competition
YEREVAN, 26 July. /ARKA/. Armenia's TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies has been awarded one of the world's most prestigious awards in the field of educational technology - Tools Competition 2023-2024.
‘TUMO received the prize for its work on the integration of artificial intelligence in the field of education. We are proud to have been selected from over 1,900 entries for one of the competition's top prizes,’ TUMO's Facebook page said.
This prestigious competition is supported by leading AI organisations such as OpenAI, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Schmidt Futures and Ballmer Group.
About TUMO Centre
The TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies (TUMO) was opened in Armenia in 2011. It teaches teenagers aged 12-18 free of charge programming, music, robotics, animation, 3D modelling, film production, photography, game development, graphic design and drawing.
