YEREVAN, 14 June. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved the strategy of data storage development under the slogan "Cloud Above All" at a session on Friday.

According to Deputy Minister of High Technologies Industry Ruben Simonyan, state structures are expected to use cloud solutions instead of traditional servers for storing databases .

This will improve the infrastructure used and bring additional security guarantees, he said. At the initial stage, cloud servers will not host data representing state secrets.

The deputy minister also noted that from now on, in order to purchase servers, entities will have to provide clear arguments. -0-
