Armenian Prime Minister Warns of AI Risks to Jobs
YEREVAN, April 13. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned of the risks of introducing artificial intelligence (AI) to the labor market, including employment.
As the Prime Minister noted during a meeting with representatives of the country's largest employers, the introduction of AI into the economy also creates risks, including for jobs.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of conducting analytical and practical work in this area to avoid potential problems.
"We must understand what needs to be done and where to collaborate to ensure the proper transformation of the labor market," the head of the Armenian government noted.
Earlier, Matthias Unduraga, Head of Artificial Intelligence for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Europe, called for embracing AI, learning how to work with it, and changing our thinking.
"You shouldn't be afraid that artificial intelligence will take your job. AI doesn't take jobs, but rather enhances the capabilities of specialists," Unduraga said at the Doing Digital 2026 (DDF) forum in Yerevan.-0-
