Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) discussed and adopted a number of decisions on the introduction of 5G mobile communication technology.

Armenia will start introducing 5G network throughout the country

YEREVAN, 18 December. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) discussed and adopted a number of decisions on the introduction of 5G mobile communication technology.

It said that as a result of the conducted tenders it is expected that 5G network will cover at least 60% of the territory of every urban settlement, including the Academic Town in Yerevan, Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport, airports in Gyumri and Kapan, as well as operating customs points and those still under construction.-0-

In addition,t 98% of interstate highways should be provided with mobile broadband internet, with at least 10% of the coverage being 5G. -0-
