The Armenian Parliament on Thursday approved in the first reading a package of bills to the Criminal Code and related laws deesigned to improve the fight against cybercrime.

YEREVAN, 14 June. /ARKA/. The Armenian Parliament on Thursday approved in the first reading a package of bills to the Criminal Code and related laws deesigned to improve the fight against cybercrime.

Thus, a specific list of cybercrimes will be established. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, not all crimes and violations of the law can be assessed and characterised as "cybercrime".

Based on this, certain clarifications as well as specifics have been proposed. -0-
