The Cyber Police of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned of fraudulent schemes involving offers to install apps supposedly to improve 5G connection quality.
YEREVAN, March 24. /ARKA/. The Cyber Police of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned of fraudulent schemes involving offers to install apps supposedly to improve 5G connection quality.
"If you receive a call from a mobile operator (Ucom, Team Telecom, Viva Armenia) offering to install an app on your phone supposedly to improve connection quality, do not trust them," the agency said in a Facebook post.
The Cyber Police stated that this is an attempt by criminals to gain access to citizens' bank accounts, after which they may steal money.
