Armenia is studying the UAE's experience in the digitalization of government services and the potential for implementing the E-Gate border management system.
YEREVAN, December 30. /ARKA/. Armenia is studying the UAE's experience in the digitalization of government services and the potential for implementing the E-Gate border management system.
This is of particular importance in the context of integrated border management under the Armenia-EU visa liberalization program, the interior ministry's press service reported.
For this purpose, a delegation led by Nelly Davtyan, Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of f Armenia, recently visited the UAE.
The Armenian delegation studied the UAE's best practices in integrated border management, the operation of E-Gate systems, the digitalization of passport and migration services, cybersecurity, and electronic services for citizens and businesses (including the eDAS 2.0 system).
The visit provided an opportunity to learn about practices that can be applied to modernize migration and border processes in Armenia.-0-
