YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. The development of secure cloud deployment models was discussed by Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and John Banyan, Head of Professional Services for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region at the American company Salesforce.

"The parties noted that these models will be fully compliant with Armenian data protection legislation and international best practices," the ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, Mantashyan emphasized programs aimed at digitally transforming public administration, the economy, and society. The importance of implementing innovative technologies, the "Cloud First" policy, cybersecurity, and the development of digital governance systems to ensure more efficient, transparent, and accessible public services was emphasized.

Banyan, for his part, praised the dynamic development of Armenia's tech ecosystem and noted that Salesforce is interested in distributing innovative solutions in markets that prioritize digital progress and talent development.
