Prospects for cooperation in the defense industry were discussed at a meeting on Wednesday between Armenian High-Tech Industry Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and representatives of the American company Shield AI.

The company's delegation was led by Chris Brinkley, Senior Director of International Business Development and Strategy.
According to the Ministry's press service, the parties discussed the use of autonomous software platforms, exchange of experience, and R&D.
Hayrapetyan highlighted the potential for developing cooperation between the Armenian government and Shield AI in the defense sector. He presented initiatives aimed at developing the industry, ongoing legislative reforms, as well as Armenia's engineering potential and potential areas of cooperation in defense technologies.
Brinkley, in turn, spoke about Shield AI's technological solutions, highlighting the company's expertise in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. He expressed his willingness to expand cooperation, share expertise, and implement joint projects with Armenia.
