YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and Philippe Rogge, Corporate Vice President for Public Sector Affairs at Microsoft, discussed prospects for applying AI and cloud technologies.

The meeting took place as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) taking place in Barcelona, ​​according to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry.

Simonyan presented the Microsoft vice president with the government's strategic vision aimed at digital transformation in Armenia, developing the data economy, and strengthening the high-tech ecosystem.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the role of cooperation with leading international technology companies as an effective tool for realizing innovative potential and implementing modern solutions in public administration.

The parties also discussed the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the prospects for applying artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. They also explored the possibility of implementing professional retraining programs and joint educational initiatives.
