The ArMath team from Armenia took second place at the FIRST Global Robotics World Championship in Panama, Armath Engineering Makerspaces reported on Facebook.
YEREVAN, November 3. /ARKA/. The ArMath team from Armenia took second place at the FIRST Global Robotics World Championship in Panama, Armath Engineering Makerspaces reported on Facebook.
The Armenian team was represented by ArMath laboratory students David Ghazaryan (Dvin Secondary School), Onik Hakobyan (Gavar School No. 2), Vanik Manukyan (Gavar High School), and Mari Ohanyan (Yerevan School No. 131).
FIRST Global is one of the most prestigious international robotics and engineering championships. 192 teams from 182 countries participated in the competition. The theme of the competition is solving environmental problems with robots.
ArMath is Armenia's national engineering education program. It is being implemented by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
