YEREVAN, October 16. /ARKA/. The 16th Armenian State Prize "For Global Contribution to High Technologies" for 2025 was presented to Vincent Roche, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Analog Devices Inc. (ADI).

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the prestigious award to the laureate at a ceremony on Wednesday.

Congratulating Roche, the head of government noted that in today's technology-rich world, the work of the Armenian IT Award laureates is noticeable in everyday life.

He praised the importance of good education for the country. "Our experience, knowledge, and practice have led us to the conclusion that today there is virtually no problem in Armenia that cannot be solved through education, be it foreign policy, domestic policy, construction, the humanitarian sphere, or the social sphere," the Prime Minister said.

Pashinyan emphasized the importance of education in overcoming poverty and solving social problems.

He touched on the "Academic City" program (which is planned to house Armenia's public and private universities), assuring that, despite the mistrust of many, it will become a reality. "I hope that by the end of the year, by government decision, we will approve the General Plan for the Academic City and move on to its implementation," Pashinyan said.
