YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. In 2026, a vehicle equipped with specialized Lidar equipment will patrol the streets of Yerevan, recording asphalt conditions, illegal advertising, and accumulated litter. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
"Yerevan Municipality is introducing artificial intelligence tools into city management," Avinyan noted at a working meeting of the mayor's office on Monday.
According to him, data on the condition of Yerevan's streets will be collected without human intervention, using cameras installed on buses and an artificial intelligence system.
The mayor explained that many administrative functions will now be automated, and the management model will change somewhat.
