AI to be implemented in call centers of Armenian government departments

Artificial intelligence is planned to be implemented in the call centers of Armenian departments. This was stated by the Minister of High-tech Industry  Mkhitar Hayrapetyan during the presentation of the Ministry's activity report for 2025 to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

YEREVAN, January 13. /АРКА/. Artificial intelligence is planned to be implemented in the call centers of Armenian departments. This was stated by the Minister of High-tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan during the presentation of the Ministry's activity report for 2025 to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The solution already exists in Armenia - the technology of voice-to-text and text-to-voice in Armenian has already become a reality. We close the entire chain, the algorithm is developed by technological companies", said the minister, expressing confidence that it will work in the best way.

In this regard, it was noted that in the first half of 2026 it is planned to develop the specifications of the "citizen-artificial intelligence" dialogue platform and on its basis organize a competition or conclude a contract with the relevant organization.

The platform is intended for providing citizens with quick and complete information on issues related to the activities of the ministry, programs and powers, by means of telephone calls and electronic communication with the direct participation of artificial intelligence. -0-
