A roadmap for protecting children in the digital environment will be developed in Armenia, announced RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.
YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. A roadmap for protecting children in the digital environment will be developed in Armenia, announced RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.
"The problem is interdepartmental in nature and requires a systemic approach involving various government agencies. An expert group will be created to conduct an in-depth study, present a package of proposals, and a roadmap for action, including various scenarios," Hayrapetyan noted, speaking at a roundtable discussion entitled "Children's Online Safety: The Role of the State and Telecom Operators," organized as part of the "Telecommunications Week 2026" events.
The minister emphasized that the package of proposals being developed will include a wide range of solutions, from awareness-raising methods to potential technical and legislative restrictions.
