YEREVAN, July 15. / ARKA /. Orange Armenia telecom, a subsidiary of France Telecom, has announced today new tariff for incoming calls when roaming in Georgia.

It said until September 15 the cost of one minute incoming call for all Orange voice customers will be only 40 AMD, which is the best price offer in the market.

Customers do not need to dial any additional codes to activate any additional service in order to enjoy the tariff: all they need to do is just activate roaming before leaving the country.

Orange also offers the exclusive 55 AMD/min tariff for incoming calls in Turkey and Orange Zone countries.

Orange Zone unites range of European affiliates of France Telecom Group. They are: Orange France, Orange Spain, Orange Switzerland, Orange United Kingdom, Orange Slovakia, Orange Austria, Orange Poland, Orange Romania, Orange Moldova, Orange Luxembourg, where customers can join the local Orange network, and Mobistar, where France Telecom operates under the brand Mobistar.

Orange Armenia, 100% subsidiary of France Telecom, launched its mobile voice and internet services on November 5, 2009 on the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia. During 2009, 140 million Euros have been invested in Armenia and some 50 million dollars during 2010, and now the company provides a full range of voice and data services in 600 cities and villages of Armenia, to 95% of the population.

Earlier, two other mobile operators in Armenia announced price reductions for roaming in Georgia in summer months. In particular, subscribers of ArmenTel (brand Beeline) while roaming in the Georgian network Mobitel can receive calls at a price of 49 drams per minute and also make calls to all fixed and mobile phones Armenia and Georgia at a price of 69 drams. VivaCell-MTS operator (Mobile TeleSystems subsidiary) has reduced the tariff for roaming in Georgia to 45 drams per minute for incoming calls. ($1 – 367.3 AMD)--0--
