YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. The number of GPRS roaming partners of Armenian VivaCell-MTS increased by 31 up to 59 in the second half of 2008, the company’s press-service4 told ARKA News Agency. The company has two-way GPRS roaming with 13 out of 31new partners and a one way GPRS roaming with the other 18.

Thus, the number of GPRS roaming partners of VivaCell-MTS reached 59 and the number of countries where the customers of the company are able to use GPRS service reached 32.

VivaCell-MTS has two-way GPRS roaming with AVEA (Turkey), Babilon Mobile (Tajikistan), Claro (Brazil), CTM (Makao), DoCoMo (Japan), Geocell (Georgia), Network (Norway), Sentel (Senegal), STC (Saudi Arabia), Tango (Luxemburg), Telefonica Moviles (Mexico), True Move (Tailand) and Vietel (Vietnam) mobile operators.

VivaCell-MTS customers can use GPRS roaming service in the network of the above mentioned operators. The customers of foreign operators can use GPRS roaming service in VivaCell-MTS network as well.

VivaCell-MTS customers can also use GPRS roaming service in the network of eight operators. Namely, VivaCell-MTS has one-way GPRS roaming service with Cellcom (Israel), Maxis (Malaysia), Mobitel (Georgia), Tele2 (Liechtenstein), Utel (Ukraine), Vibo (Taiwan), Vivatel (Bulgaria) and Vodacom (Tanzania).

At the same time, the customers of Cellcom (Malaysia), Kar-Tel (Kazakhstan), Kyivstar (Ukraine), Orange (France), PCM (USA), Pelephone (Israel), Spice (India), Taiwan Mobile (Taiwan), TurkCell (Turkey) and URS (Ukraine) can use one-way GPRS roaming service in the network of VivaCell-MTS.

VivaCell-MTS had a one-way GPRS roaming service with Digi (Malaysia), Hutchinson and Hutchinson 3G (Hong Kong) and Polkomtel (Poland) which have become two-way.–0--
