Consumers of “yerevan-jur” will inform on water supply termination via answering machine with recorded information of “ArmenTel”

YEREVAN, December 10. /ARKA/. The companies “Yerevan-Jur” and “ArmenTel” signed an agreement envisaging to inform population via answering machine about water supply termination for the debts.

“Priority of “Yerevan-Jur” is the improvement of services for the consumers. We improve these services mainly by the investments of World Bank and have to cut off water which lasts several days. Cooperation with “ArmenTel” opens additional opportunity of informing population”, said General Director of the company “Yerevan-Jur” Pascal Royer.

Information is provided through mass media and call-center 1-85. Pilot program was launched in November-December and its results are satisfactory.

“It is an example how two companies combine their efforts for the convenience of the clients. Using leading technologies of service center of Beeline or partners can inform their subscribers about the planned works, deviations from the schedule of water supply and inform them about their debts”, said General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko.

During the testing period 3500-4000 information calls were made.

“The service of answering machine information was the first time tested and introduced in Armenia. Now other companies of the group “Vimpelcom” use this experience. “ArmenTel” is regularly suggesting innovation solutions directed at the improvement of different services rendered to population”, said Klimko.

Duration of the call via the service of answering machine lasts 20 seconds and is made during regular hours till 22.00.

Head of client service department of “ArmenTel” Burastan Movsisyan said that the answering machine can make 2-3 repeated calls in case it is not available to inform the consumer.

CJSC “Yerevan-Jur” is resident of Armenia which was founded by French company Generale des Eaux. In 2005 it won the tender announced by the World Bank for leasing “Yerevan Water Channel” for 10 years.

The company has a right to manage the water system of Yerevan with the aim of provision of drinking water, water drain and waste water also in Ararat, Aragatsotn and Kotayk regions of Armenia.

“Yerevan-Jur” has 339 369 subscribers. Water supply network of the company stretches for 2120 km.

CJSC “ArmenTel” is an affiliate of the company “VimpelCom” (trade mark Beeline) since April 2007. 100% of shares of “ArmenTel” belong to Russian company. “ArmenTel” provides services of fixed and mobile services, as well as broad-band Internet access in Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.—0--
