Armenian mobile operator VivaCell-MTS releases new numbers with +374(0) 98 regional code

YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. Armenian mobile operator VivaCel-MTS releases new numbers with +374(0) 98 regional code, the company’s press-service told ARKA News Agency.

At its sitting on November 19, the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) made a decision to provide VivaCell-MTS Armenian mobile communications operator cell phone numbers with +374(0) 98 area code. According to the terms of providing new area codes, the previous codes must be filled by 60%.

“Starting from June 8, 2009, the new range of numbers beginning with the code 098 is launched in order to satisfy the continuously growing demand for mobile numbers,” is said in the message.

Postpaid and prepaid numbers with the code 098 are available in all VivaCell-MTS service centers. Prepaid numbers are also available in other points of sales.
