YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. Chairman of the Armenian Television and Radio Commission Tigran Hakobyan proposed to restrict TikTok in the country.

Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday during the discussion of the report on the commission's activities in 2023, Hakobyan cited the US and the European Union as an example, where similar solutions are also being discussed.

“The technical revolution has led to the loss of state control over content. For this reason, a number of countries have moved to content restrictions, but Armenia is seriously lagging behind in this respect,” the head of the regulator said. -0-
