YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. Three IT companies founded by Armenians are listed in the annual America’s Best Large Employers 2023 ranking, compiled by Forbes in partnership with market research company Statista that involved 500 startups.

The ranking is based on a survey of about 45,000 workers at American companies and institutions with 5,000 or more employees. Participants were asked if they would recommend their current employers to friends and family (on a scale of 0 to 10), and to cite any other employer they would also recommend. The Armenian companies are SuperAnnotate, DISQO and Drata.

The founders of SuperAnnotate are brothers Tigran and Vahan Petrosyan (451st in the top 500, with a branch in Armenia). The company's tools are used by thousands of people and cover a significant part of the computer vision project lifecycle, helping companies compile, organize, and comment on their data. Founded in 2015 in San Francisco, the startup managed to raise about $14.5 million in investment in 2021.

DISQO was founded by Armen Achemyan, Dro Kocharyan and Armen Petrosyan in Glendale in 2015 (393rd in the top 500, also has a branch in Armenia). It offers marketing and research companies correct data about user (consumer) behavior, thanks to which they can build the right strategy about positioning and development of their brand. Every year the company conducts more than 10 million surveys on its platform.

The co-founder and technical director of Drata (145th in the ranking) is Daniel Marashlyan, an entrepreneur with Armenian roots. The other two co-founders are Adam Malkowitz and Troy Malkowitz. The security and control automation platform he created constantly monitors and collects data on the company's information security measures being implemented, while simplifying compliance processes to ensure audit readiness. --0--
